Applewood® Vegan

‘Awesome! Natural smoky flavour – it melts well and tastes amazing. Equally delicious raw and melted. Great intensity of flavour, so lacking in many vegan cheeses.'

Asda Mature Cheddar Alternative

‘Really good flavour both cooked and raw! Great melted on toast – it actually does taste like cheddar – just a shame that it is not fortified.’

Planted Coconut Drink with Cocoa

‘Delicious. Lovely creamy texture and flavour, not too coconutty, deep cocoa aftertaste.’ ‘Not too sweet – and with added nutrients – excellent. Children will love it.’

Bute Island Grated Hard Italian Style

'Good flavours and crumbly texture. Nicely salty like real Parmesan... added nutrients?'

Califia Farms Oat Barista Blend Gluten Free

'Subtler flavour which makes it more versatile, and gave it an extra point from me. Creamy smooth, good colour, fortified to a basic level, but surprised no Vit D. A bit like a single cream. Beautiful flavour, very similar to full fat ‘normal’ milk!'

Califia Farms Salted Caramel Cold Brew Coffee

'Lovely taste and nice balance of flavours, quite expensive. Nice feel in mouth, smooth. Good natural caramel flavour. Attractive colour. Delicious coffee drink, another fab grown up drink, great for hot summer days. Nicely unsweet.'

Lidl Soya Yoghurt Plain

'Good taste. Delicious flavour, no soya back note, creamy smooth texture. Very like a classic plain yoghurt, creamy and very pleasant.'

Lidl Just Free Coconut Yoghurt Mango

'Delicious. Attractive appearance with mango swirl. Lovely sweet flavour, enjoyed the bits of mango. Nice chunks of fruit, good flavour but not fortified.'

Lidl Just Free Coconut Yoghurt Strawberry

'Attractive colour, fruity texture, benefits with added cultures. Creamy, lovely fresh strawberry flavour, can’t really taste this coconut. Good flavour but not fortified.'

Tesco Free From Coconut Oil & Soya Alternative to Garlic & Herb Soft Cheese

'Lovely taste and creamy texture. Very reasonably priced. Mild coconut flavour. No back note. Low protein. Really nice flavour and texture, can be eaten on its own, but quite versatile.'

Tesco Free From Coconut Oil Alternative to Grated Mozzarella

'Melts well, good flavour, and fortified! Melts beautifully, taste is lovely, better cooked/melted than raw. More of a crumbly texture when uncooked, comes across more cheddary. Not too salty.'

Bute Island Grated Mozzarella Style

'Wonderfully melted with a bit of stringiness to it (rare indeed!). Versatile. Great that the oats are gluten-free. Mild coconut flavour, great taste and appearance. Soya-free, melted well, nice creamy flavour.'

Lidl Just Free Coconut Yoghurt Blueberry

'Lovely flavour, I would expect children would love this as it's quite sweet tasting. Quite runny, but ok flavour & fortified. Good level of protein.'

Lucy Bee Organic Fair Trade Coconut Milk

'Good! No aroma. Not very strong. Thin in the mouth. Lovely, tastes of fresh coconut. Smooth natural coconut flavour which isn’t overpowering. Attractive colour. Creamier than lots of coconut milks and higher in protein, how? But no calcium so can’t recommend for patients.'

Tesco Free From Coconut Oil Alternative to Italian Hard Cheese

'Versatile – no added nutrients except calcium. Delicious. Pleaseant smell, well-salted – a good bite to it. Good texture and colour. Lovely strong flavour. Great aftertaste. Perfect for cooking with, eg macaroni cheese. Interesting flavour, serves a purpose.'

Tesco Lactose Free Greek Yogurt

'Thick & creamy, lovely texture. I would happily eat this. High in protein, fat. Nice product, very similar to normal yoghurt, no use for CMP allergy. Good consistency and creamy flavour, many with lactose intolerance can tolerate normal youghurt anyway.'
