Retailer of the Year – Year 2!
Awarded last year for the first time to the supermarket whose own brand freefrom products do best in the 2016 awards.
An exciting category designed to reflect the significant role that the supermarkets have played in the development of 'freefrom'.
• NEW - Small Producer Award
New category designed to encourage small producers and start ups. The winner will benefit from mentoring from Tesco's technical and marketing experts.
1. Breakfast Foods
Always a very successful category, Breakfast includes all of those delicious freefrom products which set you up for the day:
We will award winner, highly commended and commended certificates in each subsection.

The most 'staple' of the staple products and always one of the best 'populated'! Whole loaves and sliced breads, rolls, buns....
3. Store cupboard
Any store cupboard item, ambient, dried, or frozen, excluding pasta and pizza bases but including bread and cake mixes. Depending on entries we may subdivide this category and award individual or joint winner, highly commended and commended awards.
A very large and absolutely crucial category in freefrom. Offers the sponsor more exposure and coverage than the single product awards.
4. Pasta and pizza
A vital part of any diet, freefrom or otherwise!

Another very successful new category last year bringing together every kind of dessert and pudding from Sticky toffee pudding to coconut ice cream, including seasonal desserts – such as Christmas pud!
