Categories 1-6 will have been included in a dedicated tasting – click here for more details.
For categories 7-9 we will pull out the best wheat-free, egg-free and nut-free products from tastings we have done since September 06.
The innovation category will include any new product which featured in Foods Matter between April 07 and April 08.
The overall winner will be drawn from the winners of all the categories above.
We will award a winner and two commended/highly commended’s in each category.
The winner’s products will be featured at the Allergy & Gluten-free Show in June.

1. Dairy (cow’s milk) free ‘Milk’, cheese, butter & spreads
2. Dairy (cow’s milk) free Ice cream, chocolate, desserts & yogurts
3. Gluten free Breads (breads & bread mixes)
4. Gluten free Pastas, pizzas, pies & sauces
5. Gluten free Cakes, muffins & puddings
6. Gluten free Cereal bars & biscuits (sweet and savoury)
7. Wheat free In all the tastings
8. Egg free In all the tastings
9. Nut free In all the tastings
10. Innovation award
11. Overall winner
The presentation of the awards will take place on Wednesday 21st May 2008 (during Allergy Week) at
Antony Worrall Thompson's Notting Grill in London.
